STELLAR BROADCASTRelease updates

Transmission received · September 2026

Worlds now tell you more—then demand more.

Build 146 sharpens the relationship between the worlds you scan, the systems you preserve, and the colony that survives after landing.

What this covers: customer-facing changes made after Build 142 through Build 146. It intentionally does not count Build 142's new stories and encounter audit a second time.

Build 143–146

What changed aboard the ship.

Planets carry clearer consequences

Rings, moons, and surface conditions now contribute more meaningfully to the colony you can build.

  • Water, resources, radiation shielding, beauty, and habitable moons can change settlement prospects.
  • Ice-ring recovery now scales consistently with the Bussard collector upgrade, beginning with baseline recovery at rank zero.
  • Planet rendering and scan presentation provide better visual clues before exact results are known.
  • Weak world conditions matter after touchdown instead of every landing automatically becoming viable.

Additional animated encounters—and stronger existing ones

More encounters have been elevated into full visual events, while current animated scenes and puzzles received richer motion, clearer staging, and responsive controls.

  • Stellar hazards, anomalies, and first-contact scenes received animation and scene-composition refinements.
  • Choice controls now adapt more reliably across phones, tablets, and landscape displays.
  • Puzzle layouts and event presentation make better use of the available space.

More information where decisions happen

The voyage interface does a better job of keeping the ship's condition visible before a consequential choice.

  • Ship-status indicators are available across more encounter screens.
  • Compact layouts pack status indicators more efficiently without colliding with Settings.
  • Desktop menus, tooltips, and large-screen layouts received additional polish.

Audio that supports the scene

The loudest encounter effects have been rebalanced, and compatible ambient effects can play without unnecessarily silencing the background score.

  • Alarm, machinery, impact, crowd, medical, and anomaly cues received targeted level adjustments.
  • Radar audio is timed to the sweep reaching its contact.
  • Volume handling no longer needs to be reapplied on every screen transition.

Landing, results, and sharing hold together

Landing state and voyage persistence received further hardening, while colony results are easier to read and preserve.

  • Additional causes of misleading interrupted-save messages were corrected.
  • Landscape colony results keep the planet and outcome at the center of the report.
  • Planet and colony share cards capture high-resolution, ad-free summaries of a completed voyage.
